Parenting In a Secular Age: Conversations You Need to Have

“But it’s different now!” your child exclaims. And you know what…they’re right! Not only is the world different than when we were growing up, but the cultural climate of today is rapidly reshaping how our kids view God, themselves, and the world around them. God calls parents to the honored position of caring not only for the physical, social/emotional, and academic needs of their child but also for the spiritual nourishment of their soul. In this class, we will explore the conversations we need to have with our children to prepare them for the world they are growing up in. This is a time to equip parents with humility, honesty, and courage to discuss some of the hard topics of today with their children.
